Job Description
Areas of Operations:
•Bridges
•Integrated Infrastructure
•Other Structures
Essential Skills:
•Strong research and analytical skills.
•Familiarity with Design standards / codes / manuals
•Proficiency in graphic software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, ETABS, STADDPRO
•Familiarity with latest technologies in the field
•Should possess good presentation and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design & Detailing:
•Develop and review designs for bridge components (superstructure, substructure, foundations).
•Prepare construction details for joints, bearings, and reinforcement layouts.
•Ensure design accuracy for concrete, steel, and composite bridges.
Technical Leadership:
•Mentor junior engineers and guide the design team.
•Lead design reviews and solve complex challenges efficiently.
Standards & Compliance:
•Ensure designs meet standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes, IRC).
•Stay updated on advancements in bridge design and materials.
Project Collaboration:
•Collaborate with teams to resolve design challenges.
•Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation.
Documentation & Reporting:
•Prepare design reports, specifications, and BOQs.
•Maintain thorough documentation of design processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors with master’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum Requirements
- Around 07 – 15 years of experience in Consulting Industry.
